The unknown, to me, Lespo Soltar, a korean make that I've never heard of till I saw this on craigslist.
I think once the weather warms up this will get a good teardown and cleaning, it's hard to tell in the pics but the color looks damn close to a Dodge Viper blue so touching up the paint shouldn't be too hard.

Don't worry, it's straight, it's the picture that's crooked.
At some point I want to replace that scooter handlebar arrangement with a proper stem and a decent set of bars.

The squishy rubber covered, yes, rubber, seat has to go.
Not sure what to replace it with yet but anything would be an improvement.

When it comes to locking the frame together those Koreans don't mess about.

Same goes for the mast lock, virtually bombproof.

Though they seem to have gone off the rails with the rear brake, it's a sort of drum brake with a band around an oversized flange on the hub, squeezing the lever tightens the band around the flange and stops you... in theory anyway, all I seem to get out of it if a sort of wheezing noise.

I'd like to replace this whole mess with an internally geared hub and some real brakes if I can ever get the parts.

Another bombproof bit, the rear rack, made from solid rod stock and I'm reasonably sure I could stand on it without it giving any.
